OPORTO -
On April the 14th the by Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) designed Casa da
Música will be opened with a concert of Lou Reed. In the first weekend of april the
building had been presented to the press.
The building is a design of Ellen van Loon and Rem Koolhaas (OMA). Engineer is Cecil
Balmond (Arup AFA). Acoustic advisor is Renz van Luxemburg (Dorsser Blesgraaf). The chairs of
the main auditorium had been designed by Maarten van Severen. The curtains of the auditoria
have been designed by Inside Outside.
